Cool. I'm the same.

Will challenge you when I get back.

You should join the England vs team, they are looking for players, could be a dceent challenge. I'm up against some Italian I think who has a much higher rating!

Turan

If you fancy a league game then set one up and I'll play you. I can't access chess.com at work, but I do have the phone app.

There you go Turan.

If anyone bumps in to Kenya (perhaps on Safari), then let him know I am ready to start the Raul Duke Trophy match when he is.

Well played E12. Not sure when Kenya will be back for the Raul Duke. He showed up on here a couple of weeks back for a short while, then disappeared again.

If people are interested we can have a mini-tournament while we wait, but loads of people in the group seem to have disappeared, not sure there is much interest anymore.

Congrats E12-tough competition

I managed to also beat some chelsea lady who was very highly ranked, not sure how we're doing overall in that team match?

Any other upcoming events for the gp?

Go for it. Shall we make it a league match as I haven't played one in ages?

Finally, the WHO Inter Toto Chess Challenge has concluded.

Now for the Raul Duke Trophy, the winner of the Champions League vs the winner of the Inter Toto.

Who am I playing?

Well done Kenya. You got lucky in a couple of games but thoroughly deserved to win all the others.

Why Thank you Alias *tears up and gets very emotional* and all this on top of the mother of all hangovers

But seriously thanks to YOU for setting the whole thing up, it has been a very entertaining sideline here on WHO, and while improving everyones chess there have been some great moments like the baby oil , Lithuanian grandmothers and witches incidents. 3 Cheers for Alias everyone ..Hip hip

Re: CHESS: 2nd WHO tournament, all welcome
after nearly three months we finally have a winner in the Champions League...

Congratulations to Kenya - very worthy winner. Without doubt the strongest player won the tournament.

Thanks to everyone who joined in, and good luck to those still playing in the spin-off tournaments.

Once the dust has settled and those games are over, hopefully we can start a newer even bigger tournament.

As a plastic paddy myself, I've had years of practise honing my abuse against my Irish cousins, so I'll be piling in on this lot.

'The Irish are a sedate race.' Is that relative to The Spartans?

As a plastic paddy I'm afraid i'd be in two minds about insulting this lot. However my ultimate loyalty is with WHO chess.
